Samantha began her public accounting career at HSCO through a college internship. A year later, in 2000, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina Upstate with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) degree.
Her experience in public accounting includes various assurance and taxation services for commercial, not-for-profit, and governmental entities, as well as individuals and employee benefit plans. A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accounts (SCACPA), Samantha is licensed to practice in South Carolina. She and her husband have two sons. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with them and volunteering with their many sports and school activities. She is an active member of her church, where she serves as a member of the Finance Committee and as a small group leader.
