Mr. Schwartz graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina in 1983 with a degree in accounting. He joined the firm in 1983.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. He has served on the Taxation Committee of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, and is a past chairperson of that committee. He is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Spartanburg. He is Treasurer of the Episcopal Church of the Advent, having served in that position since 1998.
